What InvoiceCraft does

Documents

  • Invoice, simplified invoice (receipt), credit note, proforma invoice, packing slip and pick list
  • Each one on or off, with its own series, title, texts and file name
  • Created by themselves when the order reaches the statuses you choose (subscription renewals too), or by hand
  • Simplified invoice instead of the full one for small consumer orders, up to the amount you set
  • Proforma only for the payment methods you choose (bank transfer, cheque)

Legal numbering

  • Your own format: prefix, year, month, digits, suffix (for example F-2026-00001)
  • Yearly or monthly reset in the time zone of your site
  • Atomic counters and a unique key: never a repeated number, no gaps from failed saves
  • Set the next number to continue the numbering of another system
  • Or use the order number (works with order number plugins)

Issued means final

  • Each document keeps a snapshot of its data: seller, buyer, lines, taxes by rate, totals
  • Every invoice is chained to the previous one with a hash
  • "Check the issued invoices" tells you if anything was changed or deleted in the database
  • Cancel and reissue: a credit note cancels the invoice and a new one is issued with the corrected details
  • QR code that opens a verification page of your shop (no customer data)
  • PDF files in a private folder with a random name, served only after a permission check

Refunds and credit notes

  • A credit note for every refund, full or partial, with its own series
  • It cites the invoice it corrects and the reason
  • Refunds without items still show base and tax by rate
  • Attached to the refund email

Emails and customers

  • Attach each document to any WooCommerce email, send only a signed download link, or both
  • "Your document" email to send or resend any document, in the language of the order
  • Packing slip emailed to your warehouse
  • My account: a button for each document, an "Invoices" tab and a form to ask for changes to the invoice details
  • Download button on the thank-you page; guests download with links that expire and can be cancelled
