Terms of Service

1. Description of the service

Melopo Radar is a SaaS platform for monitoring and optimising WooCommerce stores. The service has two main components:

• WordPress connector plugin: installed on the user's store, it securely syncs aggregated catalog, payment gateway and security metrics with the Melopo Radar cloud.
• Central dashboard (app.melopo.com): analyses the store, estimates the money at risk and lets the user run automatic fixes under their supervision.

Control philosophy: automatic fixes always require the user's explicit approval or the user voluntarily turning on rules that come with an undo function.

2. Subscription plans and free trial

• Free plan: 1 store for life. It includes the full health score, the total count of problems, a limited sample (the 5 worst products or 3 groups of duplicates), 3 one-click fixes per month and email alerts every 5 minutes. The limits may change with prior notice.
• 14-day Pro trial: access to every feature without a credit card. The trial starts when the store is connected to the dashboard (not when the account is created), and strictly one trial is granted per store.
• Paid plans (Pro and Agency): monthly or annual rates, with 2 months free on the annual option. The terms and prices you sign up for are honoured for as long as the subscription stays active.
• Founders offer: a lifetime 50% discount, on any plan and billing cycle, reserved exclusively for the first 20 paying customers who apply it with the code FUNDADORES at checkout. It also applies to renewals and is kept for as long as the subscription is not cancelled; if it is cancelled, it cannot be recovered. One use per customer.
• Currency: prices are set and charged in US dollars (USD). Any euro amounts shown on the website are approximate.

3. Billing: Freemius as merchant of record

Payments, tax-inclusive invoicing (VAT) and payment processing are handled by Freemius, Inc., which acts as the Merchant of Record for the software.

By purchasing a paid plan, the customer expressly accepts Freemius's purchase terms and the refund policy described below. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.

Refund policy: 14 days

• First payment: if Melopo Radar isn't right for you, you can ask for a full refund of the first payment of any plan or add-on within 14 calendar days of the purchase, without having to give a reason.
• Renewals: monthly or annual renewal charges are not refundable. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period already paid.
• Plan changes: when upgrading, the prorated difference is charged; when downgrading, the new price applies from the next renewal.
• How to ask for it: from the link in the Freemius purchase receipt, or by writing to hola@melopo.com from the account's email. The refund goes back to the same payment method and the license is deactivated at that moment.
• Abuse: repeated refunds for the same customer, or purchases made solely to request a refund after using the service, will not be granted.

This policy does not limit any rights the law grants consumers in their country of residence.

4. Customer obligations and acceptable use

By using Melopo Radar, the customer represents and warrants that:

• They hold sufficient administration rights over the WooCommerce stores they connect to the dashboard.
• They will not use the public scanner to run abusive or unauthorised scans of third-party domains.
• They keep their own backups: Melopo Radar does not back up connected stores. The user is solely responsible for safeguarding their information before running bulk fixes.

5. AI-generated content

When the customer uses the "AI Content" add-on, the generated texts (titles, descriptions or attributes) are legally considered assisted drafts. Publishing them to the public catalog is the sole responsibility of the user who approves them.

6. Limitation of liability and no SLA

Melopo Radar runs its checks following the industry's best technical practices, but it does not guarantee the detection of 100% of possible WordPress failures, nor does it guarantee uninterrupted service availability (there is no contractual SLA).

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Melopo's total liability to the customer for any claim is limited to the amount actually paid by the customer during the twelve (12) months prior to the event giving rise to it.

7. Cancellation and data deletion

The user can cancel their subscription or close their account at any time. After the account is permanently closed, all associated catalog and history records are irreversibly deleted after 30 days.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of that territory, without prejudice to the rights that the law of the consumer customer's country of residence grants them.
